First comes the target customer profile, then comes driving technology standards. In last month's CEO Growth & Profit webinar, Foundational Excellence: Choosing your Target Customer Profile, Peter Kujawa, VP of Service Leadership and TSP Evangelist, shared why and how to define your target customer profile (TCP). With a well-defined TCP, you will be better positioned to develop, adopt, and enforce technology standards with your clients. Building upon that previous webinar, this month we met up with Peter Kujawa again for Foundational Excellence: Driving Technology Standards. In this CEO Growth & Profit webinar, Peter showcased how narrowly defined technology standards launch a domino effect of improved efficiencies. However, in order to leverage your tech tack to reduce complexity and improve profitability, you'll need a plan of action! Peter provides tips from the best-in-class on how to employ and update your technology standards. Taking it a step further, Peter also provides suggested solutions for common pain points around constructing and maintaining those standards. Have you ever heard the idiom "you cannot be all thing to all people?" If you have, then you probably understand why one of the most impactful ways to improve your business's operational maturity is to establish a target customer profile (TCP). Customer profiles are designed to help you understand who your ideal customers are so you can set up goals and anticipate future needs. In January's CEO Growth & Profit webinar, Foundational Excellence: Choosing your Target Customer Profile, Peter Kujawa, VP of Service Leadership and TSP Evangelist, shared how best-in-class MSPs identify their TCPs; which in turn, enables them to create synergy within their organization and across their teams. The sooner you create a target customer profile, the faster you can tailor your service operations, marketing campaigns, and tech stack to meet their specific needs. After reviewing the why, Peter jumps into the how. In addition to discussing all of the benefits of having a well defined TCP -- decreased costs, better retention, faster sales cycles -- to name a few, you'll receive actionable advice on how you can create a target customer profile and take your business's growth to new heights. Peter also shares how to approach changing your target customer profile, and he provides tips on managing relationships with current clients who may no longer fit in your TCP. By watching this webinar recording, you'll gain: A recap of the Foundational OML Trait - Value Creation Strategy. Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and Virtual Chief Information Officers (vCIOs) are responsible for establishing and maintaining the vision, strategy, and programs needed to ensure that a company's assets and IT systems are adequately supported and protected. For MSPs, CIOs are their client's strategic technology advisors. They work directly with clients to help them budget for and manage their technology investments. With such a central role, the data needed to help guide clients properly will come from several areas within your PSA, such as sales opportunities, daily activities and tasks, the tickets you create for your team, and the tickets your clients create for you. With so much data scattered about, keeping organized and efficient can become a daunting task! For the January Dashboard of the Month, we have featured a CIO Operations dashboard shared by Joe Somerville, the Chief Technology Officer at Network People. Network People is an MSP based in Clearwater, FL offering IT and Cyber Security services. With BrightGauge, they have used data to foster an open door communication style, creating a high-level of trust with their clients. As illustrated by their 5-star rating on google, they have been able to continuously provide top-notch service by powering their teams with data! In the CIO Operations dashboard, Joe pulls the most-needed data from all of the different areas of their PSA into a single pane of glass. This has allowed their CIO department to quickly manage their daily operation and seamlessly make data-informed decisions. This dashboard is also used for goal-setting and historical tracking of client-facing meetings to help them gauge the efficiency of their CIO/vCIO teams. Check out the CIO Operations Dashboard - view here. Joe has been featured in two BrightGauge user showcase webinars on Making Data-Driven Decisions and The Power of Dashboards in Managing Client Relationships & Team Performance. Thanks again, Joe, for collaborating with us and for sharing some of the ways you and your teams have been able to use BrightGauge to drive data-informed decision making at Network People.
